Thinking of buying a winder,it's going to be between these two sleds,i ride groomed trails and play off trail every chance i get, love a sled with good weight transfer, can that be achieved with the coupled skid?does the xtx handle and ride decent? Looking for opinions as the only viper/sidewinder that i've been on was the btx

If you are looking for a skid that transfers and is great off trail you want the XTX.

If you go with the xtx count on a set of qs3 or exit coilover shocks for a good bump floats don't work very well on rough trails but xtx will shine off trail and transfer well!

What I find interesting is the XTX 137"....its an IN SEASON model that comes with Qs3 shocks. Its the same shock setup as the Tcat, not quite the best QS3"R" shocks (Kashima) front rear, and center shock is a basic gas shock, but still VERY good shocks, and being IN season, and comes with a Mountain seat.....I find this sled very cool. I would just have to remove the big lug 1.75" track for a trail track....but the price on this model is good! If I was a 137 guy id consider this for sure.

If that sled had an uncoupled skid ,that is what i would buy

Most trail guys want a coupled skid....Its a unique model that is overlooked by many I think.
I have one, shocks are great, needs wider skis if your truly an off trail rider, I will be swapping out the track as I spend more time on the trail. I would have bought the LTX however I was late buying and someone bailed on an xtx spring order so I snapped it up.
