We have a 2006 Apex GT and a 2007 Apex RTX.
The local snowmobile club is planning to sponsor a
drag race at the end of February.
The distance is only 500 ft.
Would it be easier to adjust the suspension on the GT or the RTX
for a drag race?
Basically adjusting the limiter staps and transfer rods on the GT
Any tips or advice?
Both sleds are stock except for 144 studs up the middle.
And we switched to the colder plugs (10's)

06 GT set up !
Set transfer rod to max and wheeli you will !
Remove secondary and install three washers to each bolt along with washer already there !
Install xs-805 belt from Hi-Performance Engineering.
Great Drag race only belt ! 1/2" longer it is !
Set all spring as weak as they will go front and rear springs included. Let limiter down !
If racing on lake ice you can change carbide studs to steel cheisels but
you have to keep the sled on ice only ?
Add 23 tooth top gear ?

Dont waste your time in 500 ft most any sled will kill our yammys, a little to heavy to get moving ya know I have a 1974 338 GPX that just stomps my RX in short runs.
