What do you think would happen if you sunk a turbo 4 stroke? What would you need to do to get it running again? Anyone watercross with their 4 strokes?

If the engine stops rotating before it ingests water you might still be smiling at the end of the day.

There likely be one of the 20 valves are going to be open, either the water will enter thru the intake/exhaust. First ? why try it with somethinh so expense off. Why not a 2stroke joke. It would be like driving your car/truck into the lake. #$%&* happens, don't take the chance.

Because, its a blast. I can't imagine how fast a turbo/sc apex would go on the water. I dont know though if it's do or die if it goes down.

LOL !! that sled looks more comfortable on the water than any other sled I've ever seen ........another 4 stroke myth dispelled It would take a full mod drag boat to even keep up with it .

I would be a little nervous of ingesting water with a rear mount turbo ? That would get ugly, fast

If you sink a four stroke you'd be better off not even trying to start it untill it has been completely torn down and checked out and thoroughly cleaned. Once the oil system has gotten contaminated with water the bearings, camshaft and anything that needs oil to survive are gonna go to sh!t. The only way you can buy one of these engines from Yamaha is piece by piece to the tune of about $6500, Ken.
