I am in a little pickle and need some advice. Both sleds are the same price.
2016 Apex LE brand new...zero km's
or
2018 Sidewinder L-TX 10,000 km's Perfect shape, no scratches
I love the blue colour of the Winder.
What would you buy and why ???
Thanks.

Brand new Apex with 0 miles would be my choice. No one else was monkeying around with it so you know exactly what your buying. Very nice long lasting sled is hard to beat.

personally, i would be taking the apex as it does not bother the carpel tunnel in my hands and i can ride longer that way.
i do not have enough hours on a sidewinder/srx to see if the engine vibrations bother me.
both chassis ride well when set for the rider and both have their issues that need to be adressed.

- 15 Viper STX DX red/white- GPS and KING AIR suspension 4kmiles
13 Apex XTX 45 anniversary RED/WHITE/BLACK 3K miles
10 Vector LTX Blue 9kmiles
11 Venture GT 4k miles
86 SnoScoot(2) for grand kids
If both 0 miles I would prefer the Winder, but 10,000 km is a lot compared to zero.
I have an Apex and Viper for power speed throttle response the Apex is great; for ride, bumps and rider position the pro Cross chassis of the Viper / winder is the way to go. The winders I’ve ridden have BOTH.
MY 2 cents I say neither yes or no just give strengths good luck

10000km is only 6000 miles. That is only 2 years of riding for me. I would take the Sidewinder personally. I bought a 14 viper with 8000K on it last year for my son. No issues at all.

I am leaning towards the Winder, It is a Quebec sled and the trails there are like highways, so 5000 km a year is nothing.
I do like the thoughts of a new sled with "zero" on it though.
Putting the pictures side X side, that Yamaha Blue, gets me every time.
I will be deciding this weekend before they both are gone and need to start looking again.

A used Winder that is advertised for the same price as a BRAND NEW Apex.
There is a reason why that new Apex is a four year old non-current and still nobody wants it.

I’d want it if it was in the US... Love my Apex 10125 trouble free miles allows me to spend the $$$ making/ updating it as I see fit... EPS is the selling point... I can add a riser and WRP seat and get close to the rider position of the winder...
