What years were the same body styles for the Vectors

I know 05 & 06 Vectors had the same body style but what year did they change to a new body style.

Was it 2009 when fuel injection started or 2012 with the intro of power steering when the body changed again slightly? They basically went with the whole apex look on the side panels and exhaust.

I believe that 2010 was the first year for fuel injection on the Vectors.

That isn't correct because the 08' had the original style vector exhaust outlets. I don't have the answer but I'm going to my collection of old brochures right now, I'll be back!

2008 is correct! I have one in the shop. That's the first year the Vector came in the Apex chassis, but it still had the old style exhaust outlets. 2009 was the same way. In 2010, Yamaha replaced the 973cc carb engine with the 1050cc EFI engine. That's when the exhaust outlets on the Vector changed to the style they are now.

Missed that one Ronder. Northernsledder.jk I'll go along with that, I just meant that the bodies weren't exactly the same until the fuel injected 2010 models. Any other revisions happily accepted, ride on!

"BINGO" We have a winner...... I think the 05/07s were styled after the ols RX-one ton............... I have the 05........ Still like it better than the newer styles............... Wish I could have the EFI and the EPS on my old beater.. MM.
