If I disconnect my optimateIII for a few minutes from a green light charged battery it will start charging and be orange on reconnection. Never have had it go on to be green right away.

I charged the car last night and it worked fine. Not sure what happened on the first few tries but will definitely be using it next year just before the two year warranty runs out to make sure it's still good. The distributor in Oakville was willing to exchange it on the spot with my receipt if it was not working, good to know.
