My track is lose to the point where it will ratchet sometimes,But only wen I really get on the gas or when I pound the moguls hard.If I dont do any kind og holeshot it wont ratchet,Can I ride it like this or will it hurt the sled??

What you have to do? Just lift the sled up and turn those two bolts on the back of the track? Or can you leave the sled on the ground?

Here is a true story on loose tracks
I oroiginally ran my track tight.
Sliders at 600 miles barely worn
switched to anti-ratchets & ran track real loose
sliders down to wear line in 40 miles(twice)
lost mph

tightened up track; gained 5 mph & sliders are wearing very well again.

Take this for what it,s worth!

Its simple 1:make sure the track is off the ground 2:loosen the axle 3:tighten the track bolts a quarter turn at a time if your track is that loose you can probablly go with a half turn on each side. Look at the manual it takes a max of 5 minutes. A cheap fish scale will make it easy as well

Buy a stand! Easier to work on suspension.I always have my machine on a stand so the suspension is hanging. Actually even added wheels to the stand so I can roll machine around. Dolly system saves the back.

if your a fabricator or have a welder, just make one. thats what i did. Just used some 1-1/2" pipe with a piece of angle iron at the top and a piece of plate steel at the base. works out great for me....not bad for costing me about 3.00

There is a post on here somewhere or the 2 smoke side showing what can happen to a track if the rails spears it. I'd tighten it up. Loosen the axel nut, and just have 2 guys hold the rear up while you tighten the track 1/2 turn on each side. Maxdlx
