I have an MSD booster pump that I want to run only when needed with the stock pump. I will need it to "kick in" slightly before it is actually needed in order for it to be "up to snuff" and ready to do it's job when I hit 10 psi. I am running 10.5 psi at full throttle and the stock pump falls short. I don't believe I can use the MPI controller box to overcome this.
At what psi are you guys (and gals) switching it on?

Thanks

MSD booster pump

Hammer,

Yes I remember your advise about the ss check valves and thanks about the 8 pound switch. I believe I will go with Thunder Racing recommendation about mounting the MSD pump low and in front of the fuel tank as I'm not going to use NOS. Thunder Racing claims they use the MSD alone with 20 pounds. The MSD appears only wanting to push not pull. I should purchase a new pump as I used mine for 8 hours while it was cavitating.

Your information is priceless!

Thanks,
Ralph
