I found a small amount of oil under my sled a day or so after a hard ride. At one point the sled was upside down for about a minute or maybe even longer. I was just wondering if the oil that is showing up is from the roll over. I know the oil bag is vented into the breather box but can the oil then escape the breather and leak out under the sled?? Just figured I would ask before I take the skid plate off to see if the filter has backed off a little or anything like that.

If it was rolled to the left then yes, i would bet the oil just came out of the airbox and found its way down the sled to leak out once you righted it.

nytrofly, there is a drain hole in the bottom of the air box. Oil makes it's way through the filter, then out the hole. From there it drips on to the skid plate. In some cases it can get blown back on to the lower crankcase half, and make it appear as if the engine has an oil leak.

Thanks guys, feel better now!!!! I'm gonna pop off the skid plate too though just to make sure the filter is snug.
