So I installed my avid extroverts and it turned out they were 3/16" to the left once installed. And to top it off the track rides all the way to the left as well and rubs.
So I was planning on getting the drivers centered and then move them both out so that the track does not have much room to move back and forth.
QUESTION - How much play to I give the track to move side to side on the extroverts? my guess is a total of 1/4"
THANKS

Note the drivers are not centered about the mid-line of the drive shaft.

I ended up adjusting mine three times and it wasn't fun! I started with your same situation. I moved the drivers over and almost pinched the track 1/4 is the max my track can walk back and forth and I am much happier! I found center of the drive shaft by measuring the inside of the tunnel and marking center of that on the drive shaft. Then measured the track window openings and that worked like a charm. I feel your pain. Good luck

You will (or could have) save a lot of time by marking the mid-point between the stock drivers with a scribe before you remove them. With that marked you then set the new drivers to 4.5" - 1/2 the width of the hubs to each side of the scribe line.

Lucky for you my OCD kicks in on things like this.
The mid-point between the drivers is 235.8 mm (9.28") from the end of the shaft that has the shorter journal. From there set the drivers at the 4.5" - 1/2 the width of the hubs from each side of this line. Make sure the driver teeth are centered on the hub for the Avid's (I know they are on the Wahl Bros. drivers), if not make the appropriate adjustment.

Thanks guys for the posts!
I took my drivers and shaft off and had the dealer press them on. I never thought about measurements, just assumed they would know.
Now I know different!!!
Going to try and do it this weekend, problem is I do not have a press. I think I could rig something up with my floor jacks.
Going riding in the UP on next Saturday, I need to get it done.
Thanks again.

DONE!
Went pretty smooth the second time around. Ended up only needing to move one driver 3/16" out.
Track stays perfectly centered now!!!
Thanks everyone for the help.
Still trying to decide if this forum helps or it just makes me change my sled more so I need more help!
