RTX extroverts on XTX

So I see the RTX came with extroverts in 2010. Can I put this whole assembly, shaft and drivers in my 09 XTX? It is a 9 tooth driver, but unsure of pitch. The part numbers on the drive shaft appear to be the same.

They are both 9 tooth 2.52 pitch divers, same shaft and all. But, the extros will hit the rail tips on the xtx. So you have to trim the rails or something.

Would anti stab wheels cure it rather than cutting the rails? If so, what brand holds up the best?

with 9t extros you will have to cut the rail tips (3/8ths inch) and run anti-stabs. I bought my anti stabs from the yamaha dealership, they are whal-brothers brand
