which apex is for me

im looking at getting an apex either 2006 or 2007.
theres the ER, GT and RTX
what is the best model for really agressive trail riding, its all on groomed trails for the most part.
i found a really nice 07 rtx so it has the proactive ck skid and fox floats up front.
would that be the best model for agressive groomed trail riding?

Whatever one you can get the best deal on. They are all going to need shock revalves and the mono and pro-active are both weak when valved properly. I ride an 07 RTX and for groomed trail riding I would rather have a GT. JMO.

For "really aggressive" trail riding, IMHO that is the one for you. It will be closest to your Viper if you liked that.

Frank knows how to rebuild and valve shocks.

Is it 11,600 KM or miles ?

Price is a little high for this sled this time of year IMHO. However there is that cool factor, the Ski's and it looks like most stuff has been done re normal wear & tear.

Prolly could use a driveshaft & front suspension bushings if it is 11,600 miles

Going by the pic, it is in km's, which is just under 7,300 miles.

Personally, I don't think it's too bad of a deal actually, especially with everything that has been done to it.

If the trails are smooth I prefer the mono. It soaks up little bumps a lot nicer and it is faster on top end due to gearing. If the trails are really rough or tight and twisty i'll take the RTX. It is geared 2 teeth lower than the GT so corner to corner pull is awesome.

My wife has an 06 RTX (mono) and I have an 07 RTX (ck) I prefer the 07 over the 06 I love the CK suspension. She is 120lbs fully dressed and I am 260lbs. We do alot of trail riding in Northern Wi. avg about 2500-3000 miles a year. I am very agressive rider and she is not. The only problem I have with mine is the front 2 inner bogey wheels, neither one has had the shocks rebuilt, or bushings in the front end. just have replaced exhaust donuts. Is it is it an improvement for corning?
will a 2006 apex with a 136 zx2 be better for the twistys than a 2007 rtx 121?

Those sleds are priced way to cheep. IMO

I think they are fully priced. You never get much out of aftermarket options.

They are 7 years old priced at 33% or more of new.

Are you going to pay 33% of new MSRP for a 7 year old car?

You are lucky to get 20% of new on a 7 year old vehicle if selling IMHO.
