have you tried 3-3 then???

1-3 is too low for acceleration... it allows upshift prematurely...like shifting a stick shift car before you hit the power band..

you probably get good gas mileage..

Has been talked about several times. kinda beat to death. some say good changes , some say none. did you try a seach on it?

I thought it worked better for sleds with wicked traction to prevent sucking the belt when launching out of the hole. Sleds with 136/144 conversions or deeper luged tracks??

Yes 3-3 gives you a drag setup 3-1 is very close to stock but with a bit better upshift around 20mph great for trail rideing . gas milage is good as well . this setup may not be for eveyone but it sure works good for me . it also gives good topend .

So far I like the spring with my big trackand 23/39. Only 50 miles though and not much in the way of testing. Assometer says great pull from dead stop thru 80. Haven't been beond that yet. Will tomorrow. I'd say its a good setup so far. At least with my setup.

Also remember this, the Pink and White springs each have the end 'tangs' at different locations. Pink has the tangs opposite of each other (12 oclock and 6 oclock), and White are both on the same spot.
This means that when either of them are wound at 3-3 let's say, it's really not the same wrap on the two.
