Hey all,

I recently blew my head gasket and had it replaced along with some other components at the dealer. I got it back last week and went for a good ride with it, it ran good (other than blowing a drive belt, hopefully a coincidence) but the one thing I noticed is I get alot of white smoke from my exhaust that I didn't get before. Is it possible I'm still burning coolant or possibly just burning off coolant from before the head gasket was replaced. It's a 2006 Apex RTX

Thanks in advance

It’s definetly possible the head could be warped and ya your burning coolant.
Depends if they checked the head when they did the job

if the level in the bottle is staying good, i would say it is still burning off what remains in the exhaust system. it will stop soon enough.

I checked the coolant revoir and it seems to be still full. They said they checked the head for warp when they had everything apart. I hoping that its only temporary, super paranoid that I'm gonna be stuck with the same problem I had before spending a bunch a money at the dealer.

Main could be right , that exhaust might have a lot of residual coolant in it.
You’ll smell it if it’s coolant
