The bars on the 05 are taller, wonder if anybody has a 05 that could measure the throttle cable, looking to use the cable on my 03 that I changed the bars and added a 5" risers. Using a cable ext for now but looks like sh1t. thanks

Hey red I wish that my mountain was here so i could help you out, I called the dealer yesterday and he said it was supposed to be here in sept, but didnt give me a date I hope that it is soon, though!

Phoned Vision today, cables coming in next week. Price is good too, 49 dollars. Also it is 6" longer than stock.
Is everything else long enough for a 6 " riser? Is the throttle cable the only thing that needs to be lengthened?
The stock bars are about 6" tall with no riser. I put on a Fabcraft bar the that is close to stock maybe just a little shorter and a 5" riser under them and the only thing that you need to do is extend the throttle cable. You will have to reroute the other cables. Worked okay for me last winter, except the powermadd cable extender looks like

red- you can buy a throttle cable for a 2000 and newer mm700 and straighten the 90 deg. bend in it for under $25 at your local dealer. I have done this on a few of these and I don't think 5' should be a problem
