Hey all... Newby here, and stoked to find this forum. I have a 2007 RS Vector Mountain SE....love the sled!
I want to put a ski rack on the back and the dual rear exhaust is a limiting factor. I have seen under tunnel exhaust on some Apex models that have a similar body style.
Does anyone know where to go, or who makes an under tunnel exhaust for this year/model sled? I'm in Utah, but willing to travel to any surrounding mountain states to have the exhaust installed.
Thank you for any info, or help in finding this mod for my sled.
Windzup,
Brian

I have a single "glass pack" muffler on my RX-1M. Take a look at the post on the RX-1 Mountain forum for a post by Kachess. It details the single exhaust quite well.
I have a "Y Pipe" that slips on your exhaust header (at least on an RX-1). I also have a Yoshimira (or maybe it's just a Yamaha R-1 pipe) I was going to use but did not, if you're interested.

I put a undertunnel exhaust on a Vector Mtn SE several years ago.

Take a look in the classifies. I have a Yamaha R-1 pipe I planned to use for my sled (but didn't use) for sale very inexpensively. You'll just need a welder and a Y pipe (which I am also selling but, it's different for an RX-1).
Good luck

My wife wanted more storage on her sled and less on her back. This is what I did to her '07 Vector Mtn.....
The stacks are now in the outer muffler chamber and it sounds and runs much better!

Do you have any problem with the sled bogging in deep snow with this set up?
