Who Tested The Bender Rat Wieghts?

I know there was a couple of guys on here with their hands on a set of these wieghts and would greatly appreciate hearing your results. Good or Bad...... Thanks Scott

How's about ont he Apex. These weights really intrgue me.....

I wonder if they resond well to mods/ extra HP, such as adding a header.....

I'll have my new Bender clutch kit tonight with RAT weights. I'll be installing and running it next week and give a review when I get home. They claim 6-7 sled lenghts in a 1000' over stock clutching with better backshift as well? They say the RPM will shoot right to 10500-10600 on WOT and pull much harder than stock. We shall see.......

I briefly tested em last weekend.
Same top end as stock weights on the test track but better acceleration.
I need to spend more tme with em but won,t have time till later. Went back to 2 speeds until i can do more testing.

super rats

We have been testing with super rats in the field and on the track dyno for some time.

These are an excellent weight design.

If you do an author search using "ptt" you will see the post's I have done with them.

We have not had an apex on the track dyno yet using the super rats only field testing.

We have had a nytro on the dyno, you will see the graph, when you do that search.

We have tested these weights on stock apex's, apex's with the yamacharger, a turbo apex, 121" nytro and XTX nytro.

The results have been the same on all the sleds. Amazing pull, smooth engagement, with excellent top end.

The customer sleds that I have installed the kits in, this is what I do. Ask them to run our track before I install the kit and record there speed. Pull it in the shop, 15 minutes later after I install the kit, they go run the same track. Each one has seen an improvement.


These are quality weights that give you excellent acceleration and backshifting.

Our "kit" includes a different primary spring also.

I'm intrested . Will they work on 03 rx1 . If you don't know ill be the test dummy .
