who's updating their sled or working on it over the summer?

Kinda slow around here this time of year thought I would start a thread about what everyone is doing to their sled over the summer. I'm rebuilding my engine it was stock with a head shim. I'm rebuilding the head and I ordered carilo rods , cp pistons 10:1 made for stock rings, longer arp head studs, bigger injectors, true 4 into 1 header, hurricane water meth injection kit, running a gt2871 should make around 375 hp I'm hoping. Also getting my tunnel powder coated and a few other parts and pieces. I can't wait for winter! !
 
well right now I am working on my old war witch kirkswim owns now. shock service as shocks have 13000km on the olins. new 03 rx1 muffler as the 05 one broke again at the x. re-riveting tunnel to bulkhead along with some glue I got to stiffen it back up. usual wheels/skid maintenece items to finish it off.

couchrider rs venture: oil change, install realcools and new carbides with a good once over.

dad's sx venture: install freshend up olins, clean and set power valves and If I get a deal, install 136 ripsaw. good once over as well.

et410: nothing unless I find a 136" ripsaw deal as it only needs a once over. did a crap load to it last year.

my apex: re-set toe, rocks starter saver, new power madd hand guard mounts, rack mod and shock rebuild(rear) revalve front of skid . usual once over and grease with exup adj high on my list. clutching is waiting on snow.
 
I have a new graphics package to put on the Viper, New Innovate gauges on the Apex Supercharger... to many others things to list...
 
Mine went south to OSP this morning for turbo. Also planning a few other additions and maintenance.
 
If anyone is looking for a Turbo installer I will have some time later this summer and fall to do a few.
 
I bought a new hold over 2012 black Apex for a good deal at the end of last season. I will be putting a MPI supercharger, PCV, autotune, ignition module, ulmers BOV, and clutching on. So far I have a Machined clutch for more top end, bender exhaust, powder coated the a arms with a black to silver fade at half baked, had all the plastic painted black with the flake to match the stock hood, added the taller seat, and taller chrome riser from lake effect. Just purchased AEM boost, A/F, and water temp gauges. Will mount gauges similar to Kinger, but upside down off the bars. Instead of on the top. Right before the first ride I also added my C&A razors, bergstrom triple points, and 13mm sway bars for better handling.
TY can be a dangerous tool when thinking of ideas to build. The good thing about building in the summer is the deals you can find, and there is no rush....
 
Oh yeah, always up to something with my sleds. Just finished upgrades to my Turbo Attak and ready for the snow already. Added new y pipes and rear mount turbo EXHAUST,(Thanks to Justin of FPP for the turbo exhaust, Nice Job.) Studs had ruined the exhaust but I made it through last season like that. So this year added another 3/4" to my tunnel protectors, new exhaust, shaved down extroverts as to be able to move the M20 back to it's non extrovert location, changed oil and filter, greased all bearings, back to stock gearing 23/38 and added shorter 68L chain, replaced a few bent studs, etc. etc. Now all I have to do is wait!
3 more months and I will get my other sleds ready for another season. Need to save some work for colder weather, that helps in curing the itch. Know what I mean?
 
I am hopeful on getting the old cracked cpr exhaust manifold out and a new 4-1 one in.....and some 8t extroverts in

WRP seat, star relocate and stretching to a 137, oft steering relocate, head shim, head studs,moflo vents, some more boost and clutching then off to the Dyno to get it close.
 
Just sold my 06 Apex and in the works on getting a Red 2011 Std Apex. Will know by Tuesday hopefully.
 
Suppose to get a price today either a local standard red apex, 5000km with a low black windshield prestudded track and handlebar risers for?? $ or a 2013 apex sent with floats, 2 windshields, regular studs with 2000km for 9500$
