Where R U Nytro guys carrying a spare belt?
I am new to the Nytro. Always carry a spare belt even if it's a remote possibility.
I was thinking of simply zip tying the belt into a figure 8 shape and then zip tying it in place above the belt guard to the aluminum structure to keep it in place.
I have the nose area occupied by an upgraded tool/spare kit and some survival gear so it can't live there.
Thanx

I bought 2 belt clips and put it on the clutch guard, just like the old days. Works great

The spare belt actually fits in the front tool pouch in the nose of the sled if you can believe it.

Same here, riveted a belt clip on the clutch guard. I'd love to put the Schmidt bros clutch guard on my sled but I think you have to ditch the factory guard, which would take away my spare belt storage. I use the nose pouch for tools and a sno bunje tow strap system.

don't need to get rid of stock guard with SB guard. SB guard goes on the bottom.... I too have one belt clip on the clutch guard. ive see guys just put the belt on top of the clutch guard with no clip. fits fine and doesn't move from what ive seenbirdmayon said:Same here, riveted a belt clip on the clutch guard. That's good info then, cause their website says it elminates the stock guard. They should change the wording on that if the stocker can still be used in conjunction.

I have seen guys put the belt under the oil tank also but to much brake dust on that side. I used 2 way Velcro and riveted 2 strips onto the clutch guard.

It replaces the stock "guard" below the secondary clutch, first blown belt and it will be all wrinkled up and interfere with your clutches. The SB is a very nice piece.
FWIW I have the SB clutch guard, spare belt with one clip on the factory guard and a muffin works fox pump holder on the engine plate above the belt and everything fits quite nicely.
Awesome, I gotta order one of the SB guards!

Very easy. Fold in half and then in half again. There is even a velcro belt to hold it in place!

I fold my belt and tuck it in the nose, just above the tool pouch and above the steering.. I've never had an issue with it moving. I'll take a picture later and share it.
