Well, I demo rode a NYTRO XTX and was definitely impressed with its handling for a 144". It definitely got me thinking, especially when considering the discounts on these, new and lightly used.
However, now I have to worry about how to trailer one of these 10 foot bemouths.
Can anyone fit one of these in a 10 foot enclosed trailer???
Thanks.

Yeah it will - on my trailer anyway. It takes the whole trailer, so if you have a cover on it - it might not work.

Yeah, I was talking about an enclosed trailer.
The road salt is too severe around here to use an open trailer.
I have 10 foot Bear Cat Enclosed Ramp Trailer. that is exactly 50" X 120" inside. I may borrow my buddies 10 foot Triton Clamshell if I pick one up, until I work out my trailer situation.
Thanks for the responses everyone.

The XTX is shorter than a firecat F7, yes she fits...but watch the tall windsheild on the clam

Mine fits in my enclosed 10 foot trailer..just barely. I have the taller shield and mirrors on my sled and the top of the shield rubs on the fiberglass cover and that's with the back bumper touching.

10 FT Trailer
It will fit in a 10x101 but not by much and OEM screens only. Tall screen and mirrors and you will need to remove the front cowl first.

Joe, you are everywhere!!!
Again, the Nytro XTX was impressive for a 144". Personally, I would prefer a TNT, but the discounted prices on new or lightly used Nytros are so good right now (the motor ain't bad either).
I would LOVE to go out West snowmobiling, but not until my Mom retires ... it would cost me a lot of money to leave the wife home alone with little kids for a whole week.

Who's going out west? I'm talking about Ontario, I can't afford to go out west!

Well I'm going to Speculator next week; I've rented a Nytro XTX for a couple of days. We'll see how much I like it.

Congratulations on the good deal. I think I would prefer a TNT 4TEC, but new and used the deals on the 4TEC Doos are no where near what you can snag a Nytro for. Nytros are going for about $2,000+ cheaper right now.
Like the other guy said...watch the tall windshield. The clamshell top pushes on it and if it gets cold enough it'll crack it...been there done that!

Another thought? It looks like in this picture from post above, If the sled isn't pulled in all the way forward, the snowflap might hang up on the inside bottom rail of the cap, and make it hard to open again. To prevent this, you might want to rivet a sheet of alum or plywood to the cap between the studs and higher than the bottom of the snowflap. Keeps the snowflap from flexing out and hanging on the bottom rail?
I edited the picture to show the piece to add in red.
