Adding a Blow Turbo to my Viper and concerned about overheating and reliability. Can anyone ease my mind?

Do you mean a Push Turbo? I would think reliability depends on install and how much boost you want.

The only danger is from permanent grin lines and a maniacal laugh you may develop oh and the serious lack of funds from spending due to wanting more!

Ask me how I know? I have 2 turboed vipers now!!!!

Not sure what brand blow turbo is or if that was a typo?
Cooling not issue on the trail. Our Turbo vipers don't run any hotter then a NA sled down the trail or boondocking however they will get hotter faster if you let them sit and idle.

I have heard of these blow turbos in the past 6 months. Idk if they are up and coming or they just tried to start up a business and could compete. I cant for the life of me find any info online about them.

Take a look at Black Diamond Xtreme. They are a dealer for blow turbo.

I am vey fond of the water cooled air box on my EVO, cooler takes the place of the oil filter access plate. That and flip the switch for 210hp (pump gas) or 275hp (100LL) without head shim.

brown leisure world in Canada is where it is coming from and with the clutch kit and gauge assembly its only around $3200 right now so I'm going with it. the tech doing it has done a half dozen or so but no one has tested them yet. if they are the same as a push I guess I can look for reviews and issues with those

I have noticed those with turbo Vipers on the trail do have a smile that causes some to bleed from the corners of their mouths, another funny thing is not a single complaint of "throttle thumb", hmmmm seems like they all are in love with the throttle ... What's up with that ?

It will be installed next week. I was told I definitely need to run ice scratchers. Also, where we are close to sea level I was told I needed to make sure I don't have the boost set above 6 or 7 lbs. My tech has been talking with Ulmer to make sure he's setting up the clutches right. BLoW seems to be more associated with the cat clutches. It's a big investment to me but can't wait to try it
