The longer sleds fit better in a 12 foot trailer. Can you use a 10 footer yes. But then your limited on room.
Yeah, I've been that idiot that's pulled two brand new sleds on an open trailer. Had to in a pinch, but it was in a snowstorm for the entire 500 mile trip (both ways), behind a 36' motorhome... NOT good for sure even though they were covered. Would have been cheaper in the long run to have thim shipped. The time and money into tearing them down and powdercoating all the corroded pieces sucked.

- None, looking now!
I would go for the 12 footer in case you ever get a longer sled. ( extend your current ) Enclosed for sure.
Maybe a buddy wants to go, will his fit? Things to consider....for sure get the longer one.

yea I agree here. If your looking to get into longer models, then you should go the best route when spending all that dough for a new trailer up front.
To me its kinda like buying a new sled. If you kinda want the one with the bigger motor, and its only 500.00 more when spending 10,000 overall its a given as to what to get.
The 136"apex is a long as I will be going. 10" Tritons are plentifull. The 12' Tritons seem to be harder to find.

Why the V-nose, unless it's a drive on, drive off? If it's not a drive on drive off, and you want a Triton, then a TC11 would be a better option, since you have to back up and off the trailer anyways, if it's not a drive on drive off. Drop the gate and back out, which is the same trailer as the R&R 11ARC. They are 11 footers of deck space and the 12 foot including the box.Powerguy said:Lookin at a new leftover 2009 Triton XT-10 101 and a new 2010 XT-10 101 which is a V nose ( new for 2010) with the standard small door coverall. Any preferences here? Is the 2010 much better than the 2009?
