Will Rx1 mountain skis fit a Rage

Looking at a used set of 2003 RX-1 mountain skis. Does anyone know how wide these are, if they are the same skis as the newer mountains (apex) and if they would fit 06 Rage.

Yamaha went to a wider ski for their Mtn sleds in 2005. Not sure what year they went to a saddleless ski, but the 2003 was with the saddle. My advice would be to look to 2005 or newer Mtn ski if staying with Yamaha brand.

sleddermb - you will be much better off buying the parts needed to upgrade the skis you have to the '06-'07-'08 mountain skis. It is far cheaper than buying a new set of skis. You have to buy the ski bottoms, new bolts and washers, new rubber shoe. You can reuse the stock ski loop.

The old '03 mountain ski is not a very good ski. The Yamaha mountain skis from '06 or new are some of the best mountain skis out there. I have a set ready to be installed in my RX-1 turbo 136"
