Add this to the bottom of the stock riser? I don't know how long the included bolts are, but figured I could call if you guys think it will work.

I don't think it will unless your getting rid of the stock riser. if your only wanting to add a couple inches on top of the factory riser look at rox http://www.roxspeedfx.com/cgi-bin/cart/ ... cat_id=278
or muffin works http://www.muffinworksltd.com/ those work pretty good and let you keep your trim ring

If you want it to look decent, buy another stock riser, then cut it down to your desired height.
Remember, with the angle of the steering post, the farther you move the bars up, the farther they move back.
Unless you use an articulating riser system.

I told this guy 2 weeks ago on hardcore about the rox risers, seems he still needs more input to purchase one. lucky it's not a engine mod, this would go on for years. LOL

Well, the ROX riser, unless used on the TOP of the stock one, will not allow you to use the chrome trim piece above the tank shroud.
I understand why he would be hesitant, I stewed a long time deciding how I was gonna accomplish my goal of moving the bars forward and still being able to use the chrome piece. PowerMadd came out with this adaptor (the middle piece)the month before I changed it, so it worked out....

We (Muffin Works) have some awesome riser kits available for the Apex. They are fully polished billet aluminum pivoting risers available in three different heights. Our pivoting adapter is also machined to fit perfectly with the stock chrome trim ring, and allows you to keep the chrome trim ring installed.
Check us out!

yes you can use the chrome trim piece, I had one on my apex for two years. I just added the 3.5" rox on top of my existing factory riser. all was good.

RTX Dude....how did you like the 3.5? Is it high enough to stand up from time to time, or did you just add it to stop the slouching over a bit.
If I recall correctly when I spoke to you at Johnsons, you were about the same height as me. Im 6'2 barefoot so with the yammi boots probably closer to 6'4

Hey Kevin, the 3.5 was actually a little tall. I think the 2" would fit better for me. 6'2" also here
but it worked well
