Whats the trick to removing the 2 back windshield fasteners by the flare?

pry the centre pin and pull up

Loosen the screw, pull screw and threaded clip right out with your fingers

What's the trick to getting them to secure better? Both of mine are flimsy and to don't secure adequately. I fear these things will be flapping in the wind once I get to ride mine.

I found the trick to getting them out is just ride the sled. Got home from a short 50 miles and one was gone.

Itipped sled on side and windy broke right by them screws. I wish they would of just popped out

Over tightening they will strip easy then fall out.

New ones installed properly are pretty tight.

Mine also tipped over and broke by screw.
Cheap design, so I ordered an Arctic Cat
Low black windshield. Outta do more than Yamahas
Dragonfly windshield.
