Of all threads I can find on the Winder front bumper, none state just what is required to remove/replace one.I will upgrade the one on mine eventually and would like to know ahead of time what I need for fasteners and how the old ones are accessed and removed. Also does the Cat one fit or not? I have conflicting reports about this.

Once the hood is off, remove the fuse box and It’s just 4 torx bolts to remove which are on the top side of the bumper you will see the 4 holes in the bumper where the torx bolts are. To replace the bump you need to remove the fuse box mount which I think has 4 rivets which need to be drilled out.

And this is why Yamaha doesn't sell a million accessories like BRP, they make it too difficult to swap stuff over.

The cat bumpers are the same. Don't forget these are artic cats. The rivets are a workout if you don't have a air riviter.

It stands to reason the Cat bumpers are the same, but I have read on a different forum that there was subtle differences between the two where something had to be modified for one to fit on a Winder. Air riveter I have and yes they save a PILE of work.I even have a box of Stavex rivets to use.
