My 09 nytro randomly started to give me problems. Turned it off to adjust the wastegate actuator. Pulled the seat and that cover, adjusted wastegate and reinstalled. Went to fire it up, caught for a second and died. After that it would crank but wouldn’t sputter or anything. Stunk like fuel though,40psi while cranking and with key turned on. I figured plugs fouled, pulled them out, soaked with fuel but still sparked. Cleaned them, reinstalled, same thing doesn’t even cough. So I pull the plugs, unhook fuel pump and crank engine to make sure cylinders dry out overnight. Grabbed a new set or cr9e plugs, reinstalled this morning. Turn key it fires for a second and stalls. Forgot to hook back up fuel pump so I hook it back up and same thing as last night doesn’t even cough just cranks. Stunk like fuel again so I unhooked the fuel pump again, cranked it a bunch and to my surprise it eventually fired I guess after I assume most of the fuel evaporated. It idled for a few seconds and while it’s doing that I rehook the fuel pump and it instantly dies. Repeat over and over again and it’ll start for a second but the second the fuel pumps plugged it it won’t run. It has a pcv but it only controls my secondary injectors not hooked up to primary injectors at all. No engine codes except for the fuel pump code when I unplug it. Any ideas?
