I currently have 500 miles on my RS Vector LTX GT and after my last ride I noticed on both sides of my seat where the blue arc and black meet(middle of seat), I have worn out the material right thru!! I wear Yamaha Bibs and Boots where the boots have a Yamaha "button" near the laces on the inside so I think that this may be the culprit but I am not positive. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I am really suprised bothered!! How can I fix this?!? Could this be a warranty issue with my dealership? I have noticed that Yamaha seats tend to shroud the side of the tunnel whereas Polaris seats sit right on top and not hug the sides. What about aftermarket seats, do they follow the same design as Yamaha for this particular sled? Retail?

Your wisdom and insight are always and greatly appreciated. :o|

No way that is going to be covered under warranty that would be wear and tear item. Upholstery shop can fix it but I would wait until spring unless he can fix it right away no sense in not riding when you can.

The worn out area is near the blue streaks that run down the sides of the seat and about the mid way between tank and tailight where blue streak is widest, roughly where your feet and legs would rest or hug the side of the seat in normal sitting position. It is the lower portion of the seat where the seat meets the aluminum. Hope this is more clear.
