This year blows. I mean I live in Canada, don't get me wrong I love my country and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but this has to be the worst year on record? I was watching a program on "the weather channel" and they said they had to go to the arctic circle to find winter? What the heck is that? I live in a country where we can rely on a couple of things; we like our beer cold, we don't lke to cause problems and we like our SNOW! If we didn't like the top 3 we wouldn't live here. Come on "old man winter" give us a break and throw some winter our way for a change.
If you have anything else to add to my list please feel free. Just remember your buddy may show his wife or girlfriend, so don't get yourself in trouble. lol. You can problaby do that all on your own ;)! .

This is the winter that never happened. At least in northern mn, lol!!!!

But then over in Europe and Asia they have snow in places that never get snow and the Black Sea froze over for the first time in a while. Winter is over in the eastern hemisphere, not here.

Yes, this season has sucked so for for those of us in MN. I have more miles on my trailer than my sled from my trips to the UP of MI. I am still holding out hope to be able to ride at my place up by Brimson, MN yet this season. It could happen but it is looking less and less likely as the remaining weeks of the season slip by.

I second the fact that this winter has sucked..... 450 miles, and they werent very good! Maybe March will bring us some late season riding.

yep, got maybe 2 or 3 km. on around my field. New skid, track, gearing, graghics, seat modded, hid's, skis, shocks...... just sitting in my garage.... On the flip side, nothing has broke yet.. lol...

For you MN boys, I was up on the hill behind Grand Marais, Gunflint Trail, and they do appear to have enough snow up there. I didn't have the sled but all reports are the trails are good and forecast calls for a few more inches this week.

here, its winter as usual,it did start a little late but i cant complain, trails are in great shape, there is alot of traffic on weekends from all the snowless riders of the south,4000 km for me so far, just north of here, snow is in abundance, enough for an avalanche if you look at my post in the lounge section

72 miles so far this year. Pretty bad. No indicators in the near future of any snow either.

Trails are still good here. Lakes are the best I've seen in years for speed.

The wife and I just added 1200 miles on both the Apex and Attak over the ladt 10 days. Pembroke to Timmons Ontario and back. The snow is in northern Ontario, you just need to drive to it.

I had heard the same and I was thinking about possibly heading up there and stay at Devil's Track Lodge or the Windigo Lodge, or even Hungry Jacks. Has anyone been riding up there that can comment on the trail conditions?
