Would these plastic clips work to replace those crappy ones

As long as they have the same hole dis they should be fine. I broke a few of mine doing exhaust donuts and used some I found my Honda. Fit perfect.

Fastenal has ones very similar to the Yamaha ones and seem to be a bit tougher. They even have a slot to get a screwdriver in to pop them up, much easier.

Search some of my old posts, I linked a part number. They are WAY cheaper than the Yamaha ones too.

The ones from Fastenal work great and are automotive quality. I got a pack of them and they seem to be very durable
