I have gone thru 4 sets of the back inside idlers in the last year and I cant figure out why.
Thought I had it when I tightened all my studs.
Rode 440 miles in the UP a week ago and everything was fine.
Went for about 130 mile ride yesterday and when i got home they were shredded again.
The conditions yesterday were perfect.
I do run my track a little on the loose side but I don't think that has anything to do with it.
I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

I too have gone through a lot of these (probably 3 sets in the last season). I think it is either ice buildup that the wheels are running over back there at the start of the day, or when bottoming out hard the rails flex and the wheels hit the cogs on the track.

I wasn't studded last year and was going through them and now this year mine are still ok (studded this last offseason) so I don't think the studs have anything to do with it.
