I am looking into an apex seat myself but if this works with an rx seat pan I will definitely be getting the wrp kit ..please keep us updated

Yes works with rx1 pan, mines done, seems real nice, but you really need a air stapler & 1/4" staples, easy install.

Ryan so your aware, a regular apex seat is real soft foam you settle in seat 2-3".
A apex mtn seat is firmer but remember your paying the same price for a 10yr old seat & foam.
After seeing and sitting on mine it's a NO-BRAINER.

About 3 1/2 hours away.. so you would recommend the wrp kit over the apex seat ?

After seeing mine in person I would do the WRP kit for sure, if you wanna drive here it only would take 1 hour.

So that's what i should suspect it to look like after the install? F*****G AWESOME!! I can't wait! I just got off the phone with my buddy and said we gotta get a move on pickin up our sleds.. Times a tickin.. How long did it take ya Bigdog, did you follow the WRP instruction vid? I got the air stapler, 1/4 and 3/8 staples just encase.. How is that trunk space did you fab anything up to line the foam or does it seem chill the way it is?

Install is easy, done about 3 wrap's before. Trunk is good, you could put some kind of liner in it I just haven't thought of what to use.

So after installed an everything how many inches do you think you Gained over the stock rx seat ?

I couldn't agree more.. Buy the seat kit Ryan.. I was so close to buying an Apex seat (used) at about the same price until i found this kit! I was hesitant since it was knew design, however, when i spoke with the owner he said "you can send it back if it doesn't work but you shouldn't have any problem". I was pretty certain it would fit after speaking to the owner and seeing the shape of the foam, i feel that much better seeing it on a sled and complete. Nice job on the install Bigdog

I believe the 03 seat sat even lower than the o5..? I do know the WRP sits at least 3" to 4" higher than the 03 factory seat.

Well there's a rx1 next to mine with apex seat, because of firmer foam I think I sit about 1-2" higher than RX w/apex seat.
Way higher than stock RX seat.

As long as it's better than my seat now .. I love the sled but man the way you sit is uncomfortable

Yeah barn of parts wants 275 or 300 for apex seats but I didn't know they were soft either good thing I seen this postI couldn't agree more.. Buy the seat kit Ryan.. Ya apex is soft, the mtn apex is firmer but I couldn't find a firmer mtn seat anywhere (tryed Travis).
And I think the WRP is firmer than even mtn seat, happy with how it feels to sit on it.
