Wondering why? I'm not familiar with the Phazer Mtn so maybe it already has open running boards. Other than being cool looking, what is the big attraction for these? It seems that they would cause a problem with lots of snow/slush/ice getting on your boots, etc.

Yes they do look cool. But the function is the big attraction for any of our running boards. If you ride deep snow of any type the snow build up on the boards is easily kicked through the WRP board rather than having to kick it off the board. We have done comparison riding on all of our models with and without the boards and some say that it is the best and easiest mod you can do to your sled.
