WRP Seat?

Wish it was a little cheaper, 250$ for some foam and leather seems pretty high to me.

Just heads up - to match the slight increase in seat height, raising the bars is also in order.
I noticed my centre of gravity was much higher and took some time getting used to when cornering. Super comfortable riding position.

I am thinking the lower the seat is , the faster you can get around on the trails . Lower center of gravity more speed

Get what ya' pay for.
Ergonomics/ comfort VS sinking in a seat/ eating my knees (1 of which has 1/3 meniscus removed 20 years ago).
I paid $289 on Ebay & then local upholstery shop did the install for $40 (I don't call a plumber to fix my car), WELL worth it to me.
Swapping it out with Wife's stocker for tomorrow's ride to see if she'll like one with her rider set-up- if so another one to be had.
Not looking forward to riding lower & on a pillow again...

How much $$ for the WRP?

The oft relocate is perfect complement to this seat. The seat was 280ish.

And maybe it's faster but when I'm riding with friends and families and there are kids on the trail and moms and dads. I am not gonna push a sled to the point of that seat slowing me down. And if that is the way it works for some, I don't wanna be on that trail or near those people when they ride.

a taller seat is all good (doesn't matter the brand) on the nytro, which will get your hips higher than your knees. taller bar riser is a good idea with the taller seat, and even better yet with steering relocate (doesn't matter brand). you can even have an quality upholstery shop to your stock seat and make it just the way you want it. just remember you usually get what you pay for. a riding partner of mine got a really nice custom seat built...apex 4" taller than stock with custom foam installed, heater and a taller seat bump (old school style). its really nice seat but, too tall for me (god built his #*$&@ really high from the ground). riding position is a highly personal thing and every thing comes into play....don't forget rotating bars around etc...

cheers

This seat is worth every penny it so far is the best upgrade I have done on my 2012 it definitely saves your knees on a long trip your body will love you for it this new seat raises you about 2 1/2 inches the downside is the Canadian dollar but in your case your American so your good to go lol. Good luck

Mountain Mod +2" seat....it even has some storage

I'm 5'7" and love the wrp seating position, but on long days I have a pretty sore bum afterwards. It's pretty firm. I haven't put in the steering relocate kit yet along with the seat. I didn't like the steering kit alone, felt like handlebars were too high.

it will be the same height as stock now with the higher seat, and steering has a way better motion.

Relocate keeps stock geometry as far as bar to rider locations when you have the wrp seat. The seat also softens up nicely over time and gives that extra cushion needed on big impacts. That was a huge ride quality issue that wasn't noticed with them.
