Got the new seat and installed it myself. Looks and feels freakin sweet! Now we need snow.

How does it feel compared to stock? I have a 2011 SE and wish it was about 2 inches higher, and not so slippery.. ALot of the time I feel like Im slipping forward on the seat and have to reposition myself quite a bit back

Coma toast, just buy one. You won't regret it. I experienced the exact conditions you're describing. Last TY ride is the first time I got off my XTX and my knees didn't ache... AT ALL! No more nuthugging the gas tank and pushing myself back . I'm 6'3" with a 36" inseam, and my hips and knees are just level.

Nice job! makes my 06 lots more fun!

It feels higher than 2 inches for sure. Totally transforms the sled. And I haven't even riden it yet. 50°here today. Green grass

You will like it. On mine, it was at least a few inches higher, plus I hardly sink into in, yet after a 200 mile day, not all groomed, I would be 3 inches into the old seat and the cover wrinkled. It feels like I'm 5 inches higher. You do have to lean more now as the cg is higher. But thats fun and makes it feel lighter.

I'll try to keep my eye out for ya while I'm up there this year now that I know what your ride looks like.

Same here! I have the chrome bling on the gas tank edge! lol...

What kind of stapler and staples did everyone use? I can't find any to fit my gun that are short enough

22 bucks at Harbor frieght...figured a one shot deal, but it works great... I think 40 lbs on the compressor

shot the 1/4 inch in perfectly. And I won't live long enough to see the staples rust. Stainless is overkill imo.

I am seriously going to have to look at getting a WRP seat. My Attak is nearly perfect for me and I think the extra 2" will be the ticket to perfection.

I got an adjustable riser on and it feels sweet. The seat should be here monday

The stock 6 " riser is perfect for me, but I had a 5 on before.
