WSA LETTER - PHONE CALL - EMAIL

Last time I was on here wasnt there a post about Yamaha now has a offical race team and is goin race this season comen up? Or am I wrong????

The WSA is supposedly going to have a 4-stroke class sometime in the near future.
I think they should do something like what the AMA does. They should have the 4-strokes race in the open class. I think that 800 2-strokes vs. 1000cc 4-strokes would be a very fair race.

I've sent emails and made phone calls along with trying to contact them at an event. They told me that there would be no 4 stroke rule exceptions in the forseeable future.

I stopped supporting them then. What are they worried about? All I wanted to do was race my "heavy, ill handling, slow, 1-ton" in the sport or trail class.

WSA is loosing popularity across the county. My wife and I went to Lake Geneva last year and spent $140 just on weekend tickets that included bleachers. It is outrageous the prices these guys get to watch a race. Not only that but try $5.00 for a 12 oz beer....etc. I am by no means cheap, but its like going to a Packer game and eveyone there that I talked to was outraged by how expensive it was to watch some racing.

That said, it is very fun to watch and amazing how good some of these riders are...BBY

I dont even watch sno-x anymore. In my opinion, enduro racing has much more bearing on what the best sled is.
Any sled can be fast for a 15 minute race but it takes a truly great sled to be fast over the course of a 24 hour race.
