My sled is hard steering what to do to solve it? My ltx I had last year was a dream and this one is more hard steering than an 2003 rx1. I have new Mohawk skies switched them out had tuner 3 skies before and it didn't helped at all

what are you running for shock pressures? When I got mine I was ready to leave it in the woods. Was like trying to push a car uphill. My front shocks were way too stiff. I dropped them to around 75 lbs and my evols at 120. My rears are at 150/200 in the evols. Handles dramatically different.

Do you have 150psi in the front in the skid and 150 in the rear of the skid?

Its been a while since I checked my front one but I think so yes. what are your ski's at? measured with the sled in the air without any weight on the ski's.

I have 50psi and 100 in the evol. What does the evol do, if you have 50/100 and compare to 50/75 what happens, is it way softer or stiffer? Or is it softer longer in the stroke?

I wonder if it is the front steering knuckle that is the problem, the sled is so direct steering have not drove any other sled that has have so direct steering. Ltx is much different you can turn the steering much more and the skies have slower turning, hard to explain.

If you suspect something like the steering knuckle or something in the linkage is binding jack up the front of the sled and turn the handle bars. It should move super easy when the sleds in the air.

at less than 60 in the main chamber of the front shocks my sled sagged about 2" under its own weight. I pumped it up until there was about a 1/2 inch sag on their own weight. That was about 75lbs so I lowered it to 70

Short answer if the link above takes too long to read is the XTX and MTX only came with a 110 pound spring in the front skid shock....unless you have an LE like inrbigness has. Put a 160 pound spring in the front skid shock and it will drive like power steering and corner MUCH better. Why should I run with the stock skies? Mohawk is allot better. Have tried 75/150 in front, all from 70 to 150psi in center and 120-150psi in rear still hard steering like he'll it doesn't do so much. The stock skies are even harder to steer with. Gonna weight my snowmobile in front center and rear to see how much weight I have on the front. I still think I need to switch out the front spindles to get rid of the problem
