With this sled being aimed at a more crossover crowd i would assume, I'm surprised they would get Camoplast to build a 1.25 ripsaw.

I thick this sled would be better off with a 144" Cobra or better still an Intense. Right now on Camoplast's site the only thing that is 144" that is more then 1.25 is the Crossover at 1.5". Anyone know anything about that track?

I'm debating of course swapping my RTX for an XTX or stretching my RTX more likely with one piece Ulmer 144" tipped up rails.

I think the perfect setup would be that Cobra Track at 1.352" with some fairly full blocks for off trail. You might even get away with studding it on these machines if you needed that too.

The crossover I had a gander at looked like a really GOOD track. The lugs are nice and stiff and on a friends supercharged Nytro seems to hook pretty decent. I'm more then happy so far with my Ulmer rails installed. I'm still on the same sliders after 800 miles on them ( with my 1.75x144 backcountry) and I have been on a TON of hardpack. I also just got back from the mountains and with the front sucked all the way up and then some, the sled performed flawless climbing with no problem. The best thing though for me is keeping the same attack angle for drag racing. The sled leaves like a bear. After seeing the cobra track in person.....and in action .......the paddle was not stiff at all and was not impressive , it wouldn't be my first choice of track.

If you do want an Cobra Cat is using an 1.25 and 1.5 141 on there Crossfires for '09 so they should be readily available.

Ulmer may be able to make 141 rails or Carbonsled I know can make 141 rails that will work and they make them for 8" wheels for the back as well.

Pricey though at $1,200 but supposed to save 6 lbs, and look very trick.
