So I have a magnaflow under tunnel exhaust that is tucked up pretty tight to the top of the tunnel. I removed the tunnel protectors up to the middle bracket so the front of the tunnel/headers have some protection still. I however want to stud my 1.25" ripsaw this year and see if I can get more power to the ground but am worried about clearance. I run my track fairly loose but not enough so it ever ratchets. Im sure once the studs are installed it might need another turn or two to prevent ratcheting.
Anyways what kind of clearance do I need so the muffler doesn't get ripped apart by studs? What does everyone else run w/ or w/o problems?
