XTX with White Windshield and Windshield Side Deflector Kit

Thought i would post pics since alot of people were asking about white windshield, i had some trouble painting the deflectors, they came with a fade to black already on them (they are not completely clear like in the pictures on the yamaha website) when i painted them my paint reacted with the black fades, so i ended up sanding down both sides and painting both sides white instead of just the back side, they look pretty good not as good as painting just the back side

i am thinking of adding some blue tuning forks stickers to the deflectors to brake up the white alittle, i also have a white skid plate to install but have not had time yet

Is that the stock windshield?
I'm thinking of doing what you did, but maybe in Black.

Gibby, did you take pixs before painting the sides??? I love what ya did but I'm too lazy to paint the sides. will it look funny without painting the sides?

there are two different side deflectors there are clear ones from 2008 and the 2009 ones are the black fade ones

i ordered clear ones they are clear in the middle but towards the edges they fade to black, they are not completely clear like the pictures

I did not take pics i should have but i had my mind set on painting them.
i wouldn't say they look funny but i do like them better white

Looks Great. I say add the yamaha stickers to the deflectors.

You know what this sled really needs? Stickers on the front shocks.

Other than that, the only missing is snow.

its the short, i found a picture of the tall some place i just can't remember where the center of the windshield is clear, the whole windshield is not white (if i find it i will post it for you)

Is that low shield that you have any taller than stock?? will it keep you warm?

the bottom one in the picture looks just like mine, it is not any taller than stock but it is wider, the deflectors will not fit with factory windshield
