I performed the initial oil change and filter myself to save a few bucks, i thought i read on a post that you can't get the Y.E.S warranty unless you have the initial service done by a dealer, is this true or was this inaccurate. Im looking to shop the Y.E.S this spring, thxs

I have never heard that,if that is true I guess I screwed up to, because I was buying the Y.E.S. Plan also this spring.

Not true, just keep a log of the service and when it was performed.
