When I bought my sled I got a three yr warranty. My question is on Y.E.S and can I purchase it still while my other warranty has not expired? What is the difference between the two? Thanks

you can purchase the two additional years at any time before your 3 year warranty runs out.

Lot of fine print but YES wont cover cosmetics. Thankfully it is still run by Yamaha and not a outside firm like other manufacturers have for extended. No deductible. Its reasonably priced and I am very happy I have it. They have always come through for me for anything defective. Two ways to justify it. Especially with a first year sled bugs dont always get fixed in first year or even two. By time it is done for sure the sled will be everything you expected and worth keeping for many years after. Other is if you sell it the new owner gets warranty also and piece of mind. That should allow you to recoup costs.

How much is the extended warranty? I am looking to get it this summer for just peace of mind.

Not sure. Way less than Cat! If your dealer does your work call them otherwise shop around.

I think I spent just a bit over 200 per sled to add the last 2 year's . Now I have 5 years.

That's a promotional rate offered to Spring Power Surge customers

I thought I lost 2 years after I purchased the MPI trail turbo. Will be able to purchase another 2?

Yes but not at the spring promotional rate.

Nope. Both our sleds have 5 years, the LE and the SE. Our SE was not order at SPS with a turbo. It was just ordered with a 5 year warranty. Then later in the summer we decided to order the turbo for that sled as well. Last fall we received the YES contract for the full 5 years with the turbo, there was nothing forfeited in warranty once you bought turbo and the extra warranty that I seen. We did not loose 2 years of warranty for buying a turbo for either sled.

I would make sure of that. Run your Vin. Dealer may have included it in Turbo Purchase.

When I purchased sled in Feb, 2 years of YES was 670, and four years was 890. I went with the 4 for the extra 220How much is the extended warranty? I am looking to get it this summer for just peace of mind.
