Yamaha accessory bumper

unless Yamaha updated the bumpers I wouldn't waste your money on it! I had one on my Nytro and literally ripped it in half when I tried to lift my sled by it. the bumper itself was plenty strong but where it attached to the mount was paper thin.

Ican tell you on an apex, it uses stock mounting location/bollt, and the bumper is beefy. So it is mounted as stong as stock, with a stronger actual bumper

The Apex/Vector bumper might be different...look at the 2 small tubes where the bumper makes on to the mount, that is where I ripped mine, the metal was like a pop can there.

If it fits an Apex it will fit any RS or RX chassis. Do not compare 08 and up Nytro to RX or RS as they are completely different.

Thanks for the replies - I have checked the part #'s for recent model year Vectors, Ventures and Apexes and they are all the same - even the older RS Venture has the same bumper.

This is very true. However I think it is intended to be that way so if you hit something it acts like a crumple zone to reduce the impact. I think it helps prevent more damage to the frame. Don't ask,how I know this... Lol

I know they are completely different chassis, I have one of each. Did you even read my post?

I have the bumper now and installed it on my 2010 Venture TF - fits perfectly even though it is only listed as an Apex bumper in Canada.
