YAMAHA COVERING MY CRACKED CLUTCH SHEAVES!!!!

WHILE LOKING AT MY CLUTCHES THE OTHER DAY I NOTICED THE INNER SHEAVE WAS CRACKED ABOUT AN INCH AND THE OUTER WAS CRACKED A 1/4 INCH.THEY ARE GOING TO COVER THEM ON MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. THEY SAID THIS IS THE FIRST RX1 WITH A CRACKED CLUTCH SHEAVE THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED NATIONWIDE. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

I guess they now know that its due to aftermarket clutching, 'cause if its the only one reported nationwide, and since they read this forum, and your sig says "pioneer clutch kit", it doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together.

Heat cracks sheaves.

i did not have any clutch kit in when the cracks showed up .the kit was installed when new clutch was.

If centre to centre or alignment is out that creates huge clutch heat which cracks the shives with the hard 8dn belt & Yamaha knows about it. It beats paying $169.00 CDN for a Mach Z belt along with $10.00 plugs & replacing both 2-3 times a season!

Thats funny i just seen a 05 candy red on a open trailer in munising at the cherrywood where the clutch exploded destroying the hood in the process, sled was bone stock with 1200 miles on it, some fellas from green bay owned it.
