This will be a work in progress over the summer and into the fall. When the time is right perhaps MrSled can present it to Yamaha.

* Electronic Compass, Even as an additional cost accessory item
* Flash chrome of the plastic exhaust covers rather than painted
* Wider choice of colors, since the hood is so small, how about a wider choice of colors? Dealer installed hoods may help the color choice process
* More HP (jtssrx)
* 07 Prototype TY demo rides in the Manitoba/ Alberta area (Sled Dog/Bounty)
* choice of shocks, dealer installed (jtssrx)
* pricing for Canadian sleds that is more inline with the exchange rates.(grader)
* Quieter track, less howling

My only wish list is the 180 hp bike motor specs!!!!!!!!

I would also like the ability to pick and choose colors and shock options for either the 121 or 136 versions of the Apex. Ie if i want a Blue Attack with a, Chrome blue windshield, Ohlins Mono and Fox floats I should be able to order it like that!!!!

Still throwing the thread together. I was going to add that I'd like to keep it as a list of things we actually have a chance of getting.
I'd love 180HP too.
But the reason the bike motor is 180HP is because it revs 2000 RPM higher. SnoMo clutches cant stand much more than 9000 RPM so the bike motor would require a hell of a gear reduction unit. The bike parts would likely be more $$ as they are made to withstand the higher revs. Would you pay $1000 more for the sled? That could be what all those changes would cost.
Lets get some more opinions on this one.

I'll put it down as a request for more HP for now until we can figure out how they can give us the bike motor.

Ultimate durability!!
Make the suspension strong enough that we don't see any fatigue failures through the life of the snowmobile (I'd like to put 50,000+ kms on my 07).

I was just talking with Allen and he suggested the Water craft motor. It makes 160 hp. 10 more hp would be fine with me

I hope to find ten grand in a brown paper bag in the trunk of my new sled.
how bout colored side panels??? my 2000 sxr had blue side panels...only two reasons that i can think of that they changed was because of cost...and a 2-stroke exhaust made it black. well i think there should be an "option" for colored side panels and we dont have that 2-stroke exhaust anymore. HIGHER HANDLEBARS

Wow, I want the GPS, TEMP gauges, Compass, ONSTAR,_ all this in a top notch electronics pakage would not be that $ if they make it we would buy it. QUiet ripsaw, Hp I like it all
I think an adjustable steering column and bars would be nice.
I sure HOPE to be confused next spring as to wether to buy a new 07 or a low mile 06 attack.
