I am in the process of ordering a pivot riser and & base from lake effect. Though I need help to complete my project which is RELOCATION of my apex gauge to my pivot riser area and maybe an mp3 holder as well..FYI: I looked into ram mounting products and am getting confused on what I need. Please any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Kinger has moved his instument panel. Many pictures of his sled in this sight. Also, you could P.M. him with any specific questions. Your post is pretty vauge on what answers you are looking for

I have been tinkering with the speedo relo since my first Apex GT.
I bought a Timbersled gauge bracket that is made to mount on top of the factory riser. You need to make the wire harness longer to use this. I bought a spare headlight harness and modded that one so I can keep a factory one on hand.

I wasn't crazy about it being in that location so took off the Timbersled bracket and made a standoff riser that moved the gauge up about 2" and stood off from the stock location.

For my Attak I am going back to the bars but I want the guage lower or even with the riser in case of a roll over. I bought the Lake Effect riser and the 1" RAM ball that Lake Effect offers. I had some spare Ram stuff around including the plastic diamond base mounted to the back of the Timbersled bracket.

For mine, I am using a medium length Ram arm. I have long Ram arm one too but its too long to use with the standard Lake Effect ball location.

This is pretty much how it set on the bars on the GT with the factory riser. From the looks of it you could attach the bracket right to the top of the riser if you like that and avoid the RAM parts all together. You can easily make your own bracket too.

The plastic diamond ball mount has little too much flex for my liking so I am going to use the round aluminum Ram-B-202U.

where can I get a bracket like that?
Search ebay for Timbersled.

You might also check with Muffinworks or any of the other guys here on TY that fab stuff as a business.

CR Racing makes one too (I think thats what Kinger has)

Or, again, make your own with a Dremel tool.
