Put all the Cat's and Polaris's on the trailers this weekend... ticked alot of people off for sure. LOL! :yam:

Saturday Oct 3rd (Stock and Pro Classes)

1st Place - Stock 600 single pipe - w/ Nytro
1st Place - Stock 600 multi pipe - w/ Apex
1st Place - Stock 700 - w/ Apex
2nd Place - Stock 800 - w/ Apex (lost on the tree to a XP800) :o|
Stock 1000 - The little Apex wheelied up on the grab bar on me, line was way stickier then we were ready for... Oopps!
:4STroke:

(Darn, not enough entries for PS/PM700 classes, so bumped up...)
BTW, this is the same PS700 that did well at HayDays 2009...
1st Place - ProStock 800 - w/ PS700 SRX
2nd Place - ProMod 800 - w/ PS700 SRX (lost to a PS800 MachZ by a hair)

Sunday Oct 4th (Bracket / Gamblers Race)
2nd Place out of 33 - Apex Stocker (lost to the same XP800 from Sat stock 800 class, again on the darn tree) :o|

Thanks to Omasta Racing for giving me another opportunity to drive their always fast sleds!
Great job tuning Greg, Wayne, and Justin "FPP" Fuller! Like you said, "anyone can go fast on other brands but to go fast on a Yamaha you know you've accomplished something."

And also, a big thanks to Jimmy Cooper and Mark for your help on the starting line both days... ;)! Atleast no speeding tickets this time, huh.

Thanks.

I believe the Omasta Racing Team will be at Epping with their sleds, not sure yet if I'll make the 8 hour trek to drive for them
(still recovering from the trip from NY to HayDays and back...) but will know better towards the end of the week.

Great job!!! show them 2 strokers what we are all about. Hate to say it but that 800r is a beast but not reliable enough for me. Oh do they give you times? I dont know how grass drag is.

Thanks and I agree, but this 800r was faster then most. This one was at HayDays too and did very well there, and the driver was excellent on the tree (cut a .407 RT that day against me)... hard to beat for sure.

Yes, they gave you time slips just like regular drag racing.
This was a dual PortaTree setup (two trees) so there were two slips for the four lanes instead of all on one, like the newer systems.

Might go as a spectator, see on Amsnow that it's a "trail sled race" but we have ISIR stock and pro sleds.

oh ok..... i might bring my nytro to see what it runs, basically stock, then run it again at the Jacobi's event after i do some things to it, just to see if they make a difference.

That would be a good opportunity to run it to see what it will do, ours did very well in the 600 SP class. It's all in the clutching.

We won't be running Stockers at Jacobi's event, maybe a turbo sled or two, and maybe a Pro-Stocker.

yea the clutching is what id like to learn about, what changes affect what areas of performance and things like that. Im not going there to win, im just going to learn about what works and what doesnt.

You could Call Justin at Full Power Performance, he's not too far from you (Ellicottville, NY).
He could explain what you'd need to do on that Nytro and has Yammi clutch parts, too.

I ran a 5.61 at 88 mph on the stock Apex at Holley NY, at Epping it ran a 5.59 (and we stage as deep as we can, not shallow).
The previous 06 Apex GT we used would run a 5.55.

I don't have the time slip for the Nytro but it runs 6 something.
