yamaha YES warranty

i just bought the 4 year YES warranty from port yamaha, off ebay. How does it work? will they send me something, or just put me in the system? I know i probably dont need it, apexs seldom have trouble. But just incase. Thanks guys

Should get receipt and they document it in there data base so all you need is the vin for any warranty work no paper work is needed.

You need to send them your VIN. They will then send you some confirmation papers I don't remember if it was by mail or email

Thanks guys. I sent them my info and vin#, they sent me an email within an hour. Sounds like I'm already entered into the Yamaha database. Hopefully I'll never need to use it, but nice to have. And Port Yamaha somehow is almost half the price of the deals that Yamaha mailed me. And about 1/3 the cost of my local dealer.

My dealer wanted $1000 for 2 years, and I think around $1500 for 4 years. I already knew about Port, so I declined

I payed 250.00 for 2 years so the 550.00 for 4 years sounds right.
