Yamahas are slow

jim, glad to see you back in blue, what was wrong with his loaner sled that wouldn't start? I thought the motor was bad in it.
I think the other problem sleds had problems because they were skidoos

Well, the update on this sled is it is a wonderful peice of something. It has spent a few days on and off all winter in and out of the shop, one of his loaner sleds siezed up, while his was in for motor blown and he gets it back and its still shutting off intermitently. Its not even fun to tease him anymore, its like making fun of someone with cancer for being bald.

Any loaner sled that was given to him was never siezed.. There is not a lot of dealer that will give you Loaner sled to ride evertime you break down... The problem here is that when there is a problem he will call and tell what the problem is and does not want to bring the sled right in so we can see the problem. He will wait a weeks and keep riding it to make the problem worse on it... It is funny when you owned 7 sled and all of them has had a major issue and not all cats . Might want to stop buying sleds and buy a pedle bike..

Pedal bikes arent cheap to fix either. :o|

I love my 2010 FX Nytro, however I would like the option for more power. I also have a 2010 600 E-Tec this sled is much faster. If Yamaha offered the Nytro with more hp that would be awesome.

My buddies ride skidoo, 08 xp 600sdi and an 09 xp 600etec and both of them get left behind by my seld, yes its the xtx but its not even close i have easy 6-7mph on them i think you need to set your sled up. The etec does edge out the sdi by 1-2 mph just pulls away slowly.

Yep it's a Ski-Doo... or I should say was a Ski-Doo. Found some remains along the trail last winter.
