The MCX200 will walk all over the YC, the MCX builds more boost and way sooner than the YC.

Since i am such a nice guy, I will go get an Apex, you get me the MCX200 kit, I will even install it no problem. Then we can settle this next winter lol. Zero boost of the line will not help you beat a boosted sled, i didnt say the YC doesn't work top end, but off the line that MCXer will be gone. From a 60mph roll maybe it would keep up , but not from the stand still though is my point thats all.

Theorectically I agree that the MXC 200 kit should be faster...30hp more make s difference...just like a 20hp gain from a YC makes a difference vs a stock Apex.
87gtNOS...what kind of results have you seen this past season with just the YC against other stuff out there?

YAMACHARGER HAS ZERO CHANCE AGAINST THE MCX200 KIT UNLESS WITH NOS.
I have owned each ride . absolutley no comparison. The Mcx Apex will run over 120 mph on snow !

Oh dont worry i believe you, if the YC was a good as MCX , MCX wouldn't sell anything at double the price.

MCX vs Yamacharger is not even a fair race. Yamacharger seems to work decent but I would rather spend a bit more and have some real boost. The Apex will take 6# of boost on a stock motor on 91 pump all day long and be very fast with no lag. My 290 MCX is in a class by itself and really the low boost is more suited to the trails because there is 0 lag. My problem is once you get a taste of the higher boost your hooked and its hard to go back. LOL

the yamahacharger works they require set ups my 2011 apex shorty ran 122 mph well set up and a best of 133 mph on a yamacharger fuel controller etc.it all depends on the money thing turbos are nice but costly i install a dozen +yamachargers a year and has many turbos all set up on the dyno i put 3000 miles a winter on yamacharger trouble free its all up to you they are both excellent different worlds its a money thing

No yamacharged 2011 Apex (unless nos added ) will run 133 mph !
No stock 2011 Apex will run 122 mph.
I own both , no way .

Were those numbers GPS or radar?
I agree no Apex box stock is going to run 122 mph. I guess depending on your definition of stock, I could see an Apex with only clutching and a 1 inch track approaching 120 MPH on ICE....

Not so un beleavable! Properly setup other wise stock Apex's have run in the 120's (radar) on ice before and I have also heard of YamCharged Apex's getting in the 130 neighbor hood. This must be in speed run prep, Lowered and short lug track with proper tune to get there though. Always makes me laugh when every one knows how much money you have to spend! I have two seaon's on a YamCharger and very satisfied with the result's for the dollar spen't. I will likely do another Charger on my new sled after break in and a season of warranty or so. The Charger worked on the 11's in controlled environment but then it was learned that it did not take much of a condition change for the deto sensor to get involved and a little extra fuel is all it took to clear it up. There are hundred's of satisfied YamCharger owner's out there, I would not be afraid to go that direction if it is in your budget or in the power range you are looking for.

dream meter & a YAMACHARGER
I have a top speed of 132mph on the dream meter on a frozen dirt road, 2 mile run, no studs, 07 attak gt, stock clutch. I built this sled so I never rode it with out the yamacharger, but others in our group that have newer 4 stroke yamaha's, that have ridden it agree, its a GREAT improvement over stock, I bought my charger used, got the updated factory parts, (great people, lots of support)
I would recommend it to others that are looking for a little extra power & do not know how to work on engines, working on tuning is required w/turbos, & superchargers and like myself I have no idea how to do it. Installing the charger was not EZ, but I did it myself in about 20 hrs, (very nice install others say, no short cuts, very picky) the only tool I did not have was a large tork wrench, ? needed like up to 85 ft lbs?, Well worth the money, a older sled low miles, half the price on a new sled & just as fast.
TOTAL PRICE: less than $2000, installed including new tools, YAMACHARGER purchased on TY
